You can achieve anything you want. You've probably heard that cliche over and over and think it sounds unrealistic. The truth is, you can, but you don't want to. The key is discovering your passions and starting as early as you can. Recently, I came across Nithila's Instagram page, "Med Discoveries." I looked through the posts and was surprised at how much someone can accomplish. Someone so young too! Nithila is only fourteen years old and runs a blogging platform about medical discoveries. She shares, "We are open to collaborations, and we will be opening applications for positions in a week! Be on the lookout for them!" Anyone who is interested should definitely check out the Instagram page and sign up.
Nithila founded Med Discoveries to move forward with her passions and leave an impact. She shares, "My motivation for starting Med Discoveries is pretty simple. The healthcare industry is working so hard day and night by researching new drugs, cures, etc. The problem is that they are not reaching a lot of people because the articles that are written to explain their research are very hard to understand. My goal is to write articles that explain the same concept in easier terms, so I can reach a greater audience. More people can gain knowledge about these drugs that they may have never heard of before and use this knowledge for future endeavors." Basically, she is impacting younger individuals or any individuals who may have a hard time understanding high-end medical articles due to the use of jargon.
Nithila really can achieve anything because she also sings Indian Carnatic Music and plays violin. She's an inspiration to many others who want to take action early and explore their passions. So, how does this connect to Inner Glow's mission? Nithila proves that nothing is an obstacle when taking action to get closer to your dreams. Her age or other activities don't stop her from impacting others positively and achieving goals. If it's computer science that you like and you're teaching elders who don't have experience with technology, or if it's medicine that you like and you're spreading discoveries to people who may not understand higher-end articles, you're making a difference in your community.
